Very important note: 
There will be one more scheduled written re-exame  in this course since the remaining student(s) seem to have problems with oral ones. This re-exam is scheduled to take place on January 16, 2009 in the afternoon. Remember to register for the exam!



The spring 2007 was the last time this course was given. Therefore it is important that you plan your re-examinations correctly since you can not take the course the next year. The course will be replaced by a substantially different  course "Advanced topics in networks and distributed systems".

Literature

Since this course deals with advanced and in many cases very new technologies, there is no course book available that covers this course. Instead we will use articles, scientific papers and other relevant material for the course. There is a web page that shows the articles belonging to the course. A printed version of the material is sold (140 SEK) at DC (The distribution centre on floor 2 in the North wing of the EDIT building). Pictures and slides used during the course and which are not directly from the coursematerial or available elsewhere can be downloaded here.

Examination

 There will be three exams for this course:

• 2007-06-01, 08.30-12.30 in V building
• 2007-08-28, 08.30-12.30 in M building
  
• 2008-01-18, 14.00-18.00 in M building.

Old exams are published here and here. This is to give examples on how the written exams tend to look like. Remember though that the content of the course has changed somewhat this year!
